K Richard Douglas is the author of the children’s books “Pochi Was Here,” “Please be Nice to Old People” and “The Terrible Insects.”
Most readers of his children’s books would be surprised to know that he has ghostwritten hundreds of articles on financial topics for financial advisors nationwide, including economic topics, financial market and product articles and insights into financial principles. Richard was also a principal in the financial services business, where he spent 26 years.
For most of his career, he taught clients and advisors alike about the mechanics of financial products and provided financial literacy to his own clients. Richard’s goal was to help ascertain that the savers and investors he worked with would have a great and secure financial future. He helped provide insights into some financial products to advisors as well.
This background, and interest in educating the public resulted in the first chapters of a book to help put Gen-Z through Millennial members on a path to wealth. The original working title of the book was “The Road to Wealth for the Average Person.” In today’s digital market, that relies so much on the Internet for marketing and exposure, there was not an available domain that would work with that title.
You have discovered what the reworked book title and domain name evolved into. The Wise Guide to Wealth is slated to be published the end of 2024 or early 2025. It will cover a smorgasbord of topics that will guide readers through all the information they need to put them on the road to their first million. Watch for it.
